Nanyang Polytechnic

Diploma in fund management and administration: Focuses on investment analysis and portfolio management, fund administration and accounting, global securities operations, alternative investments and hedge funds.

Republic Polytechnic

Diploma in business information systems: Designed to equip students with knowledge in information technology and the fundamentals of business. Students will work on software from technology giants such as Oracle.

Temasek Polytechnic

Diploma in gerontological management studies: Will give students insight into the psyche of seniors and help them get involved in the growing number of businesses catering to the silver crowd.

Singapore Polytechnic

Diploma in creative writing for TV and new media: Students will be taught how to create TV sitcoms, reality programmes, websites, blogs and podcasts.

Ngee Ann Polytechnic

Diploma in Chinese media and communication: Students will learn how to write for the Chinese media and will be trained in video and radio production, web design and copy writing.

They will spend a semester in China, where they will attend classes at top Chinese universities. Seventy per cent of the course, the first of its kind, will be conducted in Chinese.
