Seven-year-old Boong Yong Wei of Bukit Panjang Primary School appears to be overwhelmed by the toys she is getting at 'Toy Buffet', a toy donation carnival for underprivileged children held at Catholic High School.
More than 14,000 toys were collected through schools and the community.
The annual toy drive, now into its sixth year, is organised by Food from the Heart, a non-profit organisation that collects unsold bread from bakeries and hotels and distributes it to the underprivileged.
Close to 2,000 children received toys yesterday.
The remaining toys will be distributed to neighbourhood schools and children welfare homes.
